Could be better

The latest edition of this book like a couple of the previous editions is fairly good for describing Islamic terrorism and talking about counterterrorism policies. It is not really a book about terrorism in the 21st century, however, since it lacks any mention of the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka or the Naxalites in India. The only mention of the latest Mumbai attack fails to provide any background as to why that city was chosen for the attack. The book is too limited, which is very disappointing, since some of the earlier editions (1999 for example) were much more comprehensive.

Terrorism in the 21st Century (7th Edition)

I gave the book this rating because it was very knowledgable in the degree field I am pursuing but was out dated material not to Amazons fault but to my college. But the book is a keeper and provided much insight. Thanks you.
