Nice Reprint of a classic treasure hunting title!

This is a first-rate, affordable reprint of one of the classic treasure hunting books. R.J. Santschi wrote and published a number of books on dowsing, divining rods, water witching and other arcane devices for finding valuables.

This is a transition title as the author began to explore the use of electronic metal detectors - "Modern Divining Rods."

"Karl von Mueller" reprinted two of Santschi's books - he planned on reprinting this one, as well, but I do not believe he lived long enough to make it a reality.

Hardcover copies of this title are current bringing over $100 each, so most collectors will only be able to obtain this book in this excellent, professional, very well made reprint.

Personally, I like reprint publishers to add additional matter. This is a faithul facsimile reprint with no additions.

For the record, this is a reprint of the "Enlarged" 1939 Edition. Earlier editions were published in 1927, 1929 and 1931. My personal copy of this title is the 1939 "Fourth Edition," which has a few very minor variations from this reprint. The 1927 First Edition is a 6" x 9 1/4" 35 page booklet in wraps, bound at the top with staples and black tape. It appears to have been printed with a blueprint or similar device on one side of each page.

Every trillion dollars helps

Years ago I wrote on a piece of paper "Every billion dollars helps" and hung it over my desk. I had been creating software called NIPS (and, later LEADMiner and DARTTS) which would be used by dozens of governments to target trade based money laundering (TBML). But I was wrong. I should have written, "Every trillion dollars helps." Governments take notice. John Cassara's much needed, timely book, "Trade-Based Money Laundering: The Next Frontier in International Money Laundering Enforcement" describes accurately and in great detail how TBML is used to fund criminal enterprise while robbing nations of staggering amounts of revenue.

Her love for fine dining took her back to London, where she completed a comprehensive culinary course from the reputed Le Cordon Bleu. It was fun to read. Some of it was sort of dry in places and the humour was sort of over your head types of funny unless you understand about Bollywood and Indian culture. I loved it. Would recommend to friends definitely just have a WiFi connection handy so you can Google up small things. The book is in english but has some hindi phrases and sentences

Great Book...

This book has some great examples for non-parametric students. It is very applied. I wish there was an accessible solution manual for self study, but overall it was great. It uses multiple programs to do computations and is very clearly written. The limited amount of proofs given are very simple minded and the common stats students will understand. I recommend honestly.
